Mr. Kayode Abe is a seasoned business leader and HR professional. Prior to his current vocation, he had held a couple of senior and top management positions spanning about 34 years in well-reputed organizations within and outside Nigeria including Coopers & Lybrand (now a member of PriceWaterhouse Coopers) as Senior Consultant and Team Lead for OD Engagements, Michelin Group (Nigeria and France) as Head of Personnel (Commerce and Service Groups), UBA Group (as AGM and Group Head of HR Operations), Ecobank (as DGM and Country Head of Human Resources / Head of Cross Border Business), and ICAN (as Director of Human Resources and General Administration)
Kayode Abe consults in diverse organization development engagements on the platform of Kingspride Consult Limited and Excel Professional Services. He also features on the faculty of well-reputed learning and development institutions including, Institute of Directors (IOD) Nigeria, Rome Business School (RBS), Learning Resource Associates, CIBN, The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Nigeria, and for about twenty-six years with Financial Institutions Training Centre (FITC), Lagos, etc.
He is a member of both the Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIBN) and The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN) in which he had served as the Chairman of Research and Publications for a couple of years.
Emeka Oparah is the Vice President of Communication, Airtel Africa. He has over 25 years of consistent communications practice spanning journalism, advertising, public relations, events, sponsorships, and corporate social responsibility.
He is one of Nigeria’s leading experts in crisis communication, leadership transition, and rebranding. He is reputed for managing the ownership and management crisis, seven lead changes, and six brand name changes in one of the leading telecommunications companies in Nigeria.
As Vice President of Corporate Communications, he leads the team that develops the strategies and executes various activities in the management of media relations, social media communications, consumer affairs, internal communications, government relations, and social investments. He has deep, high-level knowledge of the working of the local and international media, government, and regulatory agencies.
A member of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA); International Association of Business Communicators (IABC); Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), he has attended numerous courses locally and internationally in Communications, Management, and Leadership.
Cecilia Osoka is an accomplished and seasoned professional with an accounting, audit, finance, and banking career spanning over 27years. With an Audit and Accountancy practice career of about 7years, she also had a banking career that spanned almost 17years in merchant and commercial banking.
With work experiences in banking spanning the Treasury and Operations functions, she participated in Process Engineering and Change Management projects in Banking software implementations, Central Processing Centres set up and operations. Her responsibilities covered the supervision of Operations departments and branches, Procedure manuals documentation, Process reviews, and Training. She actively participated in the CBN Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) Project as a member of the RTGS Implementation Workgroup until she left the banking industry.
Following her retirement from banking, she worked as an independent consultant focusing on Banking Operations training and Business Process engineering consultancy issues.
She is presently a Partner in Averti Professional Managers, an all-female firm offering services in Audit and Accountancy, Training, and Consultancy.
