THE ROME BUSINESS SCHOOL NIGERIA SCHOLARSHIP BOARD APPROVED A 500 MILLION NAIRA WORTH OF SCHOLARSHIPS TO NIGERIA PROFESSIONALS ACROSS DIFFERENT MASTER PROGRAMS IN THE SCHOOL.

The scholarship committee board has authorized scholarships for professionals in Nigeria to assist them in developing their careers and becoming better managers and leaders on a global scale. The academic committee, foreign partners and funders, non-governmental organizations, and the Italian business community are all represented on the committee, which is presided over by Prof. Antonio Ragusa, the founder and dean of Rome Business School.

A yearly project, the approval procedure and the payout are intended to assist exceptional individuals who are enthusiastic about advancing their professions and, in turn, give back to their nation and mankind as a whole.
To align the goals of the programs, the committee has authorized the following scholarship categories as a method for awarding money in scholarships to aid tuition payments and determining applicants’ eligibility. It is anticipated that this scholarship in the form of a grant will be open to everyone without any form of bias, nepotism, or discrimination and with an assurance that the scholarship award processes will be transparent, justified, and fair for all eligible participants.
The 2023 approved value increases exponentially with over 45% of the 2022 disbursed amount.

Early Enrollment Incentive

The Early Enrollment Program is for early applicants considering several programs who wish to earn reasonable financial aid and allocation during the Early enrollment months of April 2023 cohorts which admission starts from November 2023. To qualify for financial aid, applicants must be recommended to the admissions committee by their program Advisors with a motivation letter approved by their program Advisors. Interested applicants should complete their registration form, submit their motivation letter and should be able to claim their award within the Early Enrollment Deadline.

Lifelong Learning Scholarships​

This type of scholarship is awarded to alumni who have passed through the school in the time past who have shown continuous learning, the self-driven pursuit of knowledge and skill improvement, and who would like to take another program with the school to continue their drive to new advancement in his field or other professional fields.

The key factor is an experience—both professionally and personally, applicants merely need to submit their CV or résumé, explicitly stating that they have a cumulative experience of more than 5 years, to be considered for this scholarship. The program coordinator may request a supplementary motivation letter describing any additional information, although it is not necessary.

Academic Excellence Scholarships​

The Academic Excellence grant is awarded to candidates who have excelled in their most recent academic endeavors. Applicants must provide certified transcripts of their most recent degree together with a motivation letter explaining any academic honors or recognitions obtained to date.

Executive Women Scholarships​

The Rome Business School strives to increase the number of women in top leadership positions and enhance workplace gender equality. Our student body is predominately female, and many of them balance rigorous personal and professional obligations with their studies. We want to support these activities with our Executive Women in Business Grant, which aims to enhance our students’ capacity to realize their executive potential, leadership potential, and professional goals. When an applicant for the Executive Women Grant expresses interest, only a CV must be supplied. The program advisor will forward the application to the admissions committee for evaluation. Motivational letters and statements of goals are optional and only required by the program advisors’ request.

Entrepreneurial Grant​

A special scholarship is awarded to entrepreneurs that are running businesses that need a helping hand to actualize their vision. Taking on an entrepreneurial enterprise is frequently a difficult undertaking that needs both planning and the willingness to sacrifice. Our goal in awarding this grant to directors of SMEs, independent professionals, and individuals with their business enterprises is to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit of our students. Candidates for the Master in Entrepreneurship and Innovation program must have found a business within the previous 12 months to be eligible to apply for this award.

The Rome Business School Nigeria Students are now able to apply for scholarships, and so far, scholarships totaling roughly five hundred million Naira (N500, 000,000) will be given out during the academic year 2023.

Scholarships application process​

Scholarships are given to qualified applicants who show the most potential. Because of this, the Admissions Committee considers several scholarship applications during each round. For distribution of the current scholarship or grant fund, the committee chooses about 1 out of every 5 applicants. The committee evaluates several aspects for these select few, including but not limited to prior academic success, community service and involvement, professional and career accomplishments, and most significantly, motives and aspirations.

Eligibility
∙A master’s program applicant must have submitted an application an admitted and accepted into a program.
∙Must have filled out the scholarship form and submitted it through the program advisors.
∙Must have done the scholarship committee interview session.
∙Must have submitted its motivation letter.
∙Must be willing to accept the scholarship within a stated period as entrenched on the enrollment document.

Please note: Competition for scholarships increases as the starting date approaches and funds are limited, so it is advisable to apply immediately to access the scholarship.
