Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria APCON Nigeria is an agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria, was established to make provisions for the control of the practice of advertising and marketing communications to regulate advertising in all ramifications in Nigeria, to carry out accreditation of Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria to assess the suitability of its department for the training of students ahead of advertising professional practice.
APCON accreditation exercise is intended to guide institutions in staffing, equipping, and curriculum development of the relevant departments.
Rome Business School Nigeria, RBSN has been competent, proficient, and experienced in developing and training professionals in advertising and marketing communication programs and will continue to develop her place as a Managerial Institution in the holistic guidance and development of her executive students.
RBSN is working with several executive students currently through integrating and developing them in different areas, as well, navigating students to the specialized classes, curriculum, and teaching that they need to take their next steps to become Professional Marketing Executives and Advertiser during their learning process, or following APCON Nigeria requirements and regulations.
On Monday, 28th March 2022, the partnership has been acknowledged with the presence and acknowledgment of the Registrar/CEO of APCON Nigeria Lekan Fadolapo Ph.D., and Mr. Joe Eugene Onuorah, Deputy Director, Professional Development, APCON alongside the Country Director of RBSN, Humphrey Akanazu. Ph.D, and Mr Asunmo Olakunle Olayide, Head of Marketing, RBSN.
The Rome Business School now represents the Council (APCON) that its professional marketing programs and curriculum are consistent with the prevailing council’s approved curriculum and shall be periodically updated to ensure continued consistency and corresponding with the council’s approved curriculum.
