Francis Toromade (FCIM, MBA, MCIA, AMNIM, arpa) is a seasoned Agribusiness expert, consultant, and analyst with more than two decades of experience in leading and managing marketing, sales, procurement, research, training and development, and financial management in the livestock sub-sector in Nigeria and West Africa.
Dr. Agbugba was raised at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka Campus, where he attended the University’s Primary and Secondary Schools and graduated in 1991 and 1997, respectively. He gained admission to the University of Nigeria in 1998 to study Agricultural Economics at the University of Nigeria, where he earned a BSc in 2003, an MSc in 2008 and a Ph.D. in 2014.It is pertinent to note that he specialized in Agricultural Marketing and Agribusiness Management option and has conducted research in this area for about 2 decades. Since part of his duties as a postdoc was to co-supervise PG candidates (especially MSc and Ph.D. degree) students, he successfully produced over 10 PG students. However, prior to his academic experience, he gained corporate experience at the Technologies Platform Business Resources Limited, Ikoyi Lagos State, where he served as Head, of Business Development and Human Resources Management.
