This mandatory company visit is an integral aspect of the didactic activity for our Master students in Marketing and Communications, Agribusiness Management, Marketing and Sales, International Human Resources Management, and Executive Master in Business Administration.

Highlights of this online visit was a virtual tour of Cars 45 facility with Francis as the tour guide. It was a smooth ride around Cars 45’s People Operations, Finance, Central Support, Franchise, Data and Process Excellence, Marketing and Communications, Retail Operations, Market Place and Lead Management, Technology, International Trade, Supply Chain, and After-Market teams. Through these diverse teams, Cars45 is relentless in achieving its goal of building an eco-system around Cars.

as delivered on “Digital Tools and Technologies for the New Normal” by Timi Tope Ologunoye who is the Director, Corporate Services, Cars45 Limited. Â
Highlighting the challenges in working from home, Mr. Ologunoye left no stone unturned in guiding Rome Business Nigeria students on digital tools for communication, video conferencing, collaboration, project management, monitoring productivity, time management, cloud storage and file sharing, workflow automation, password management, people and recruiting.Â
Further on alleviating the challenges posed by the new normal, the keynote speaker encouraged frequent communication, building a culture of trust, periodic bonding exercises, work flexibility, paying attention to the human aspect, and adopting digital tools and technologies.
Supporting the tour were interactive sessions with Heads of units at Cars 45 and our Master students.
Five everlasting strategies for superior results explained as execution, supervision, collaboration, networking, and leadership.
Explaining the ground up visibility approach of Cars45 marketing, strategic pillars to attract, promote, sustain, showcase, and reinforce were highlighted.
On sales dynamics, core elements of iteration, playbook, and deal level strategy were discussed.Â
Adding flavor to the tour were People Management strategies to foster a dynamic workforce.
Emphasizing the need to communicate, Jumoke Obembe explained core elements as the need to know your workforce, build company culture, invest in workforce, create feedback channels, communicate continually, measure, and reward what to expect.

Also in attendance were Rome Business School’s representatives and students of the Executive MBA, as well as Master students in International Human Resource Management, Marketing and Sales, Agribusiness Management, and Marketing and Communications.
