Ojielo Chizoba Henry – Sales and Marketing

Henry Ojielo is a recognized Commercial Leader with over 23 years of work experience in leading multinational companies, mainly in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector and a stint in the Oil & Gas sector. He has worked with British American Tobacco, Coca-Cola Hellenic, Guinness Nigeria Plc, and Conoil Nigeria Plc.

Henry Ojielo started his career with British American Tobacco Company Plc as a Sales Representatives for Strategic outlets; he later held various positions, which includes, Area Manager, Regional Manager, and National Distributor Manager for Nigeria, Benin Republic, Togo, and Niger. In 2008, he joined Nigerian Bottling Company Plc as the Regional Commercial Director for Lagos/East. He later joined Guinness Nigeria Plc and occupied various positions in Sales as follows; National Distributor Development Manager, National Route to Market Optimization Manager, Regional Sales Director for South-East & North-East, and National Distributor and Wholesale Director.

In 2016 he joined Conoil Nigeria Plc as the General Manager, Retail Sales, where he worked briefly before joining a team of sales professionals as a Consultant on Commercial Strategies, Route-to-Consumer, Distributor Development and Capability Development. He has attended numerous commercial and leadership development programs across the world and contributes to social and community causes in Nigeria.

 

He is a strategic and people-oriented commercial leader with mastery skills in Sales Strategy, Trade Marketing, Distribution optimization, Sales Operations, Distributor Set-up & Development, and Route-to-Consumer. His strength lies in structuring and leading organizations, managing transformations, creating organizational agility, building consensus and executing high impact projects. He has led national commercial teams of more than 400 members to deliver targets in excess of $750m per annum and has created and managed massive transformational projects.

He has a B.Sc. degree in Marketing, from the Faculty of Management Sciences, Anambra State University, Nigeria, and an alumnus of the University of Liverpool, UK.
