Mr. Mahendra WAMAN - Visiting Faculty and Business Simulation

Mr. Mahendra WAMAN has recently been appointed as a visiting faculty at the Rome Business School.

After completing his Engineering in Industrial Electronics in 1995, he pursued Advance Diploma in Computer Hardware and Network Engineering. He believes in practical approach to the Business Administration. After gaining about 13 years of work experience in various business functions, he decided to attain appropriate qualification in Business Administration in order to support his knowledge and experience. In 2012, he completed his MBA with specialization in E-Business from WeSchool in Mumbai.

Over a period of 23 years of his career, Mr. WAMAN has attended many Technical and Professional courses to gain competitive edge. He even possesses globally recognized certifications. In 2007, he was certified as “Lead Auditor in ISO 27001” and in 2017, he passed “Certified Information Systems Auditor” certification which is awarded by Information Systems Audit and Control Association of USA.

Mr. Waman is highly passionate about sharing knowledge and experience. He started his career as a Trainer in the IT field and later moved to different verticals. He has a versatile work experience in Corporate Sector, in Government Sector, in Organizational Transformation & Capacity Building, Production Environment, Process Improvement, Project Management etc. During his career, he has managed various business functions in different capacities. He is a very good team builder and he practices continuous improvement.

Productivity and Performance Excellence are the mantras followed by Mr. Waman. He is an expert in business processes, and he has a strong track record of successfully developing and streamlining systems with ability to enhance operational effectiveness.

Since February 2013, Mr. Waman is working with Superflux Group of Companies in Lagos as Director of Operations. Prior to that he has worked in Nigeria for 5 years with AMSCO BV. which is a joint venture of United Nations Development Program & the World Bank. Before arriving in Nigeria, he has worked in Dubai for 1.5 years with Cupola Group and in India for 10 years with CMS Group of Companies having diversified businesses in IT and IT Enabled Services.

Mr. Waman has mentored and coached hundreds of people who were associated with him in one way or the other. He is well travelled, and he understands different work cultures; we are quite sure that our students will benefit from Mr. Waman’s knowledge and experience.
