Kayode is a Strategy and Organization Development Specialist.  He holds a first class honor degree in Sociology & Anthropology obtained in 1985 from the then University of Ife (now called Obafemi Awolowo University), Ile-Ife and finished as the best graduating student in his class. He obtained his MBA from the same institution. He holds membership of both the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN) on which he sits as Chairman, Research & Publications Committee in the past three consecutive years and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

Kayode started his career in 1986 as Graduate Teaching Assistant in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations and Management Sciences in the Department of Management and Accounting of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife.

Prior to his current engagement as Director, Human Resources and Administration with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), he had worked with the following organizations:

1. Coopers & Ly brand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers) between 1988 and 1996 – He left in February 1996 as Senior Consultant
2. Michelin Group between 1996 and 2000 as HR Head for Commerce and Service Groups (including a period of ‘doublage’ as HR Manager in Michelin, Poitier, France in 1998.
3. National Bank of Nigeria Plc (March 2000 – December 2005) as the pioneer Head, HR. He left in December 2005 as DGM and Divisional Head, Corporate& Human Resources at the point of its merger with Wema Bank Plc.
4. UBA Group (May to August 2006) as Group Head of Human Capital Operations
5. Ecobank Nigeria Plc (August 2006 to January 2010) as Country Head of Human Resources. He left in January 2010 as Group Head, Cross-Border Business.
