John Edoja’s Journey with Rome Business School

Back in September 2019, I had a burning desire to start up a new business and deep down I knew the skill set I had was not sufficient to successfully run it, so I set out to further my education to the next level and to a reasonable extent acquire knowledge and the needed skill set on how to successfully manage a business.

One thing was clear, I was not ready to go back to the regular 9 to 4 classroom lectures with lots of theory and no practical as popular in many universities and so I went searching for something flexible, aimed, and targeted at equipping students with all the necessary skill to successfully grow and sustain a business.

I discovered Rome Business School from a friend and she ticked all those boxes for me. After my interview and listening to their vision and mission, I was totally sold in as this was the place I was looking for.

I enrolled and am glad to say this was one of the best decisions I have made.

The staffs are ever ready to help; the environment is friendly, innovative, and entertaining. The lecturers are top players in their field with Practical experience for years and not just book knowledge so all their lectures are highly practical and applicable with real-life case studies and scenarios to give us in-depth analysis on what is happening in the Agribusiness field specifically tailored not only to our country, but to Africa and the world at large.

We were given free access to world-class statistical data and materials from world-renowned libraries like Euromonitor, European Library, and many others. These are data that would normally cost thousands of Dollars to access monthly.

Networking is part of their core mantra and is one aspect I gained a lot. Becoming a member of Rome business school connected me to various high profile individuals and CEOs not only in the Agribusiness field but on all other industries. Connecting with these people has broadened in knowledge in Agribusiness, and made me appreciate the sector even more.

There are also consistent Job opportunities available to students and alumni as made available by the career service team. They’re just too many wonderful things to say about my time at Rome Business School but I will pause here.

I say with all the conviction that if you are looking for a place to be properly grounded in Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship then Rome Business School is the place for you.
