BRIEF HISTORY OF THE ITALIAN DESIGN DAY
Italy’s rich history is a source of inspiration for contemporary artists and cultural producers. A glimpse into the architecture that has influenced philosophy and style around the world can be given simply by taking a trip to some of Italy’s most beautiful cities. The magnificent structures of which the Roman Empire was so proud had a profound impact on Italian culture and ideas, which is still felt today.
Italian Industrial Design was the name of this design aesthetic. When architect Massimo Vignelli produced a book titled “Italy: The new home landscape” in the late 1960s, the idea gained popularity (1969). He claimed that the architecture and scenery of Italy served as inspiration for Italian design. A New Balance in life, he claimed, was being sought through “an endeavor to develop a new relationship between man and nature” (Vignelli 1969).
International Italian Design Day aims to bring together the nation of Italy and businesses from all over the globe to discuss how culture and innovations will influence business in the future. The conference on “Italian Design Day: Sustainable Innovation via Cultural Influences” on March 9, 2023, is expected to further solidify the commercial ties between Nigeria and Italy.
The ability of design to change people and environments is what gives it power. People are able to operate more productively, efficiently, and effectively thanks to design, and the world as a whole improves. The environment in which people work, live, and interact is also influenced by how products, locations, and services are designed. The design of the iPhone, which has helped it become the most well-liked smartphone in the world, is a fantastic example. The iPhone is the most widely used smartphone ever, thanks in part to its stylish appearance. The same is true of the iPad and other devices that came after it.
We anticipate this wonderful conference, which aims to convey the magnificent cultural diversity of Italy and how it influences and promotes commercial activity. You won’t want to miss this fantastic one-off event.
