I am the Group Managing Director (GMD) of Core Trust & Investment Limited, a full-service investment banking and financial services outfit. Prior to my foray into Core Trust as a professional entrepreneur, I garnered cognate and demonstrable experience in credit, corporate finance, investment banking, structured finance, and treasury management; starting from my tutelage years at Nigerian Industrial Development Bank (NIDB – now Bank of Industry) as a project/investment analyst. I was also part of the team responsible for establishing the oil and gas businesses, structured transactions and multilateral institutions assisted projects in Continental Trust Bank Plc (now in “UBA”), Fidelity Bank Plc and City Express Bank Ltd (now part of UBA), which improved significantly on the bottom line of these banks.

To further honed my exposures, I joined BGL Limited as General Manager – corporate banking in charge of lending and project portfolios; before moving on to Capital Assets Limited as General Manager – Investment Banking; from where I left to set up Core Trust & Investment Limited.

I possessed a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from Babcock University after graduating previously with B.Sc. Accounting, M.Sc. Business Administration and Masters in International Law & Diplomacy (MILD) from the University of Lagos, as well as an MBA from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. I am a Fellow of the institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB), Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (FCS) and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCITN).

I have attended top notched global and local accredited courses in Finance, Banking, Investment, Leadership, and Management.

My area of expertise and interest are finance, banking, investment management and strategy such that I facilitate courses and programs as an adjunct Lecturer at Rome University Business Schools and Learning Resource Associates (Bankers, Finance and Investment Trainers). I am also the Chief Promoter of Financial Care Advisers Limited, an entrepreneurial, finance and philanthropy center; catering to the need of the youth and unemployed for empowerment in business, skills acquisition, financial literacy, and care. I am on the board of many notable companies/organizations in Nigeria and abroad.
