INTERNSHIP REPORT AT INDO ARAB INSURANCE AND REINSURANCE BROKERS LIMITED
The internship started with INDO ARAB INSURANCE AND REINSURANCE BROKERS LTD in the first week of September, 2021 under the direct supervision of the MD/CEO, Mrs. Olufunmilayo Akinlade. Though, the company is newly registered with Nigerian Insurance Commission, but the operators are already familiar with the Insurance market in Nigeria.

After the initial orientation, I was saddled with responsibilities of marketing the Insurance policies of the company and other assigned duties by my supervisor. I also involved in ensuring that the policy documents gets to the prospective clients as scheduled without any hindrance.

Apart from understanding the dynamics of general insurance business, I was also trained on “the processes of Reinsurance business”. I am currently working on creating robust and rich content for the company’s website, hopefully this will be done in two week.

Above all, I have gained a lot from the internship and I am grateful for this opportunity. My internship have definitely reinforced my passion for marketing.
