Mr. Chinedum Godwin Anowuru, is a versatile, multi-disciplinary and vastly experienced professional of more than 30 years hands-on experience. He is a thorough-bred professional banker/Manager. He had started his carrier in banking where he worked in some Commercial Banks before leaving the Industry in 2003 as a Regional Manager.

In 2003, he joined the West African Oilfield Services Ltd (WAOS) Port-Harcourt as its pioneer Finance/Administration Manager with the over-all responsibility of the entire Financial/Administration and HR functions of the Company. He was subsequently promoted to the Company’s first AGM, Finance/Administration, a position he held prior to joining the Trans Coastal Offshore (TCO) Marine Ltd as its AGM, Finance/HR & Administration in 2008.  His hard-work and professional prowess contributed immensely to his relieving the MD/CEO severally while on vacation. He lifted the Human Resource structure of the Company that led it to maintain a vibrant personnel management with consistent upsurge in productivity and bottom line ROI. He had also, at various periods, acted as the Company’s Company Secretary.

In 2014, Mr. Anowuru moved again to another Oil-field related Company as the DGM/Group Head; Corporate Services/Administration. This saw him responsible for virtually all strategic departments of the Company including HR, General Administration, Commercial, Corporate Resources – Logistics, Procurement, Employee Welfare/Compensation & Benefits, Community/External Relations, Facility Management and HSE. Presently, he is the General Manager, DAN HARRY NIGERIA LIMITED; another key player in the Marine and Oil & Gas Industry. One of his key roles is Policy formulation, Strategic Planning/Management, Human Resource management and implementation of Corporate Governance structure in the organization.

Mr. Chinedum Godwin Anowuru is a consummate administrator who has won several awards in leadership and organizational management. He is a strong believer in Corporate Governance principles. He is also a Consultant in both Finance, Management and Human Resources. As a corollary to this, he has strong penchant for lecturing in both academic and professional programs at the undergraduate, MBA and MBF levels. Similarly, he facilitates some other Professional examinations like the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, CIBN, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) among others. He has facilitated and lectured at the University of Port-Harcourt, Faculty of Management Sciences (MBA/MBF); Rivers State University, Faculty of Management Sciences; Undergraduate studies, and Ken Sarowiwa Polytechnic.

He is a Fellow of many professional Bodies including:

• Fellow, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, FCIB;
• Fellow, Institute of Chartered Management Auditors, FICMA;
• Fellow, Nigeria Institute of Management, (Chartered), FNIM;
• Fellow, Institute of Corporate Administrators of Nigeria, FCAI;

On 31^st January, 2020, Mr. Anowuru, would be among those that would be conferred with the prestigious fellowship award of Fellow, Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria. He is a 1998 MBA holder which is recently crowned with an LLB, in Law. He is happily married with five (5) children, 2 sons and 3 daughters. He is a Jerusalem Pilgrim (JP).
