Anthony is a graduate of the University of Leicester U.K. where he bagged his MBA degree with a specialization in Total Quality Management (TQM). Before this, he obtained a BSc degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan. He is an associate member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (AMNIM) and a financial consultant with over 20 years of banking experience.

After leaving John Holt in 1995, he started his banking career with Diamond Bank PLC and worked in various departments in banking including trade finance, treasury, banking operations, risk management, asset and liabilities management, audit as well as correspondent banking and financial institutions where he held various positions up to senior management level in the banking sector. Over two decades, he worked in Access Bank PLC (formerly Diamond Bank PLC) and Keystone Bank (formerly Bank PHB).

His various training across the globe including those in Ghana, Switzerland, and London saw him specialize in Forex trading where he majored in trading various currency pairs; Trade finance where he structured financing for large corporates especially in the Oil & Gas space; Sales/Marketing where he represented the bank at senior management levels both locally and internationally.

He has been involved in various studies and analysis for institutions like the Commonwealth Business School and the Nigerian Economic Summit Group. His versatility is the reason he is currently on the board of various companies in different sectors including Finance, Oil & Gas, Freight forwarding, Health and the Fashion industry.
