Adeola Oduntan is currently the General manager, Global Sourcing and Supply Chain management, and he has epitomized the type of leader who gets the job done through utter determination and unabashed rule for process and procedure providing requisite leadership for delivering Agile Sourcing, Supply chain, Facilities and Fleets strategies, enabling prompt and cognizable achievement of MTN  business objectives.

Adeola has been in the logistics and supply chain industry for over 15 years with hands-on practical experience in the fast-moving and high-volume operations of the Agro-allied, FMCG and Telecommunications industry.

He started his formal professional career in 1998 as stock controller/ procurement officer with west African cotton company Ltd; he understands the importance of adding value to businesses through grass root procurement. He also worked with Guinness Nigeria plc ( a Diageo company) for over 12 years where he held various leadership roles as; Head, Supply Chain Improvement Manager, Logistics Improvement Manager, Supply Chain Project lead, Demand planning and S&OP lead, Regional Logistics manager and Warehouse manager. In June 2016, he joined United Biscuits (A Yildiz holding company) as the Supply Chain manager (West Africa), where he was responsible for the end-to-end supply chain operations management ( plan, source & move).

Adeola joined IHS towers in August 2017 as Head of Supply Chain operations, where he successfully pioneered the company’s supply chain department and provided operational leadership, responsibility for the design, delivery and management of logistics, warehousing, Inventory, depot & transportation strategies before joining MTN.

Adeola has proved himself as an intelligent leader and an effective supply chain executive with multinationals. He gets the job done efficiently, communicates well, is dependable, committed and adds significant value to MTN Business.
