Day One: Visit the Private Sector Federation- Rwanda (PSF)
The Private Sector Federation- Rwanda (PSF) is a professional organization, dedicated to promoting and representing the interests of the Rwandan business community. It is an umbrella organization that groups 10 professional chambers.
Afternoon visit: Kigali Genocide Memorial
Kigali Genocide Memorial has been and continues to be a place of remembrance and learning, to honor victims of genocide against the Tutsi and ensure that it never happens again, and our executive students will learn more about Rwanda’s history.
Day Two: Visit to the Africa Leadership University African Leadership University (ALU) aims to create transformation leaders by encouraging students to declare a mission, not a major. ALU is pioneering a new approach to higher education with a holistic experience designed to make students successful entrepreneurs, leaders, and better citizens of the world
Afternoon: Training with the Alu African Free Trade Agreement
Day Three: Mara Group Rwanda (Tech Company) Mara Phone
Africa’s first smartphone factory in Kigali as the Mara Phone aims to become a leading brand across the continent. Mara Phone, a smartphone by the Pan-African Conglomerate Mara Group, has opened its first factory in Rwanda as the company hopes to pioneer a brand of African-Made smartphones.
Afternoon Visit: The Nigeria High Commission, Kigali Rwanda.
Day Four: Africa Improved Food Africa Improved Foods (AIF) is a public-private partnership involving Royal DSM, the Government of Rwanda, IFC, CDC Group, and FMO. AIF provides solutions to malnutrition via local production of highly nutritious foods and is operational since December 2016. AIF is a social enterprise and partners with non-profit institutions, such as the World Food Programme & Governments, as well as making affordable commercial products for the mass market. AIF aims to increase its volume of grade one (maize sourced from Rwanda farmers to 30,000MT, with the objective of improving farmers’ livelihoods and contributing to rural development in Rwanda.
Afternoon visit: Visit to Umusambi village for Cranes and different bird species viewing, Camp Kigali memorial & Kandt House, and Nyamirambo Women Center and the GaddafSanghaue City Tour.
Day Five: Shopping and Personal Meetings & Tourism Visit to FazendaFazendai Park Recreation Center
Faznda Sengha is an outdoor recreational center that offers horseback riding experiences, zip lines, archery, quad bikes, bungee trampoline, petanque, and others. Guest can also enjoy their picnics in a beautiful garden or terrace surrounded by nature and facing the Nyabarongo valley, and lots of space to run around, Fazenda Sangha is also popular as a touristic place in Rwanda.
