- Leading a strategic team: Leadership is a journey with no real destination. This session will look at how you as a leader/manager can utilize your potential to express a strategic vision for your organization, or a part of your organization, and to motivate and persuade others to acquire that vision. As leaders, we will be taught how to influence organizational members and to execute organizational change. Strategic leaders create organizational structure, allocate resources, and express a strategic vision. In leading a strategic team, he or she adopts similar steps such as Define & Communicate Vision, Encourage Recognition, Speak from the Heart, Delegate & Empower, and Commit to Continued Education. Great leaders commit to continued growth in experience, knowledge, practical application of skills, and networking both internally and externally. You are never done growing as a leader.

While economics provides the tools which explain various concepts such as demand, supply, price, competition Managerial Economics applies these tools to the management of the business. In this sense, Managerial Economics is also understood to refer to business economics or applied economics. Managerial economics focuses on those areas of the greatest interest and importance to managers such as demand, demand forecasting, production, cost, cost function, pricing, and market structure, and government regulations. A strong grasp of the principles that govern the economic behavior of firms and individuals is an important managerial talent. Hence, this session provides you with the current business trends and the strategic ways leaders can employ the principle in their organizations and businesses.

- Strategic Lobbying in International Institutes & Government Relations: Many organizations, businesses, and not-for-profits are facing challenges relating to multi-level governments in an emerging democracy such as Nigeria’s, more so, given the relative lack of experience in constitutional government and continuity in policies and personnel. There are new legal requirements that now have to be followed, and ethical challenges in influencing and lobbying the government.
