I am a 1995 English graduate from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management. In 2016 I obtained a certification in entrepreneurship management from the Enterprise Development Center of the Pan African University (Lagos Business School).  With over 25 years of postgraduate experience as a human resource professional with various organizations, one of which is Global Plus Publishing Ltd, as the group human resource manager. The company grew to birth 3 other subsidiaries—Kobis Restaurant (a quick service restaurant with multiple outlets in Lagos) and Quartz Digital (a CD replication company)—with a total of about 250 staff members under my purview.  After 18 years of a thriving career as a human resources generalist, in 2019, the vision to set up a human resource management company to support SMEs with the management of their human resources needs as an external consultant was conceived. So far, Qualis Business Support Services has supported over 25 SMEs in organizational restructuring, selection & recruitment, training & development, and staff outsourcing. We supported Fidelity Bank plc with training for small business owners and subsequent seed capital of N500,000 to 10 successful entrepreneurs as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility programmed tagged “SME Challenge” in year 2020.  I am also a faculty member at Rome Business School Nigeria, where I teach Managing Human Resources in Small Business to students who are pursuing master’s degrees in international human resource management, and it has been an interesting journey.

Over his career, Adeniyi has led and contributed to numerous impactful projects. As Lead Consultant at TurningPoint Data Consulting, he has delivered training and enterprise solutions in financial modelling, project management, business intelligence, and data analytics to clients such as First Bank, Wema Bank, Forte Assets, Afribank, SystemSpecs, Niger Delta E&P, and other top companies in Nigeria. Previously, at SystemSpecs—the owners of REMITA—he implemented Human Capital Management systems (HumanManager) for clients such as EFCC, Pan Ocean Oil, Honeywell Flour Mills, Intercontinental Bank, and Zenon Oil, serving in various roles from team member to project lead. His experience also includes working with Chevron Nigeria Ltd. as an information analyst within the Safety & Environmental Department, where he developed several enterprise databases and contributed to business process automation using ERP tools. As a consultant, I worked for clients including Guinness Nigeria Plc, Standard Organisation of Nigeria, Price Waterhouse Coopers and other local and Multinational Organizations. I am  currently  running a Technical consulting firm after I rounded up working with a craft brewery in Sligo  Republic of Ireland as Operations Director, where I managed all technical and general operations issues and overseeing an aggressive growth agenda in capacity and capability for the brewery. Technical Director – Guinness Nigeria PLC  (A Diageo Company) Jul. 2015 to Aug. 2016 Principal Responsibilities. Overall responsibility for Supply Innovation and governance in Guinness Nigeria PLC
  • Innovation and Renovation: Technical Innovation which is responsible for the overall supply and Technical delivery of all product and process innovation and renovation from conceptualization through development, commercialization and launch. Key Achievements include successful launch of a new RTD, a variant of Guinness stout and the commencement of Spirits production in Guinness Nigeria
  • Quality and Capability: This involves the overall management of product and process quality, management of quality systems responsible for certification and audits etc. Also responsible for management of trade quality (customers and consumers) and maintenance of a consumer care line. Responsible for management of technical regulatory agencies like standards Organization of Nigeria. 
In addition to Guinness Nigeria getting pass mark for all audits, the GNPLC Technical Learning Centre was established
  • Health, Safety, Environment and Risk Corporately responsible for occupational health and safety (policy, training, audits, PPE s, improvement etc). Also risk footprint management across the supply organization. Responsible for compliance to all environmental standards, waste management, Effluent treatment as well as managing the regulatory bodies Key Achievement was maintaining Zero Loss Time Accident, reduction in incidents and successful conduction of EIA for spirit production in Benin brewery.
  • Cost Reduction Responsible for program managing end to end supply chain productivity agenda through process optimization, cost reduction, brand value enhancement activities, alternative materials development, etc. Key Achievements were qualification of local Spirit  and Soghum extract supply.
  • Systems Improvement SAP process management and improvement, reporting of KPIs and business performance, new materials creation and recipe management etc.
Head of Implementation- Route to Consumer (Sales ) -  Guinness Nigeria Plc June 2014 to June 2015 Principal Responsibilities. Overall responsibility for implementation of the route to consumer program for Lagos Pilot and Rest of Nigeria that delivered an NSV of $28million in F15. This was managed through the following work streams,
  • Channel management, which is responsible for distributor and wholesale transformation, through managed selection of distributors and building their capability and capacity. Also managing the dropped distributors for minimum impact on the business.
  • Sales Force Expansion, which is responsible for doubling the sales force size and ensuring proper onboarding of new hires.
  • Field sales Effectiveness responsible for defining field sales processes, driving performance management as well as building salesmen capability.
  • Routing which is responsible for territory delineation, outlet survey, route mapping and journey planning.
  • Finance which is responsible for business case and project reporting.
  • Supply which is responsible for driving supply efficiencies and improving customer services in trade.
  • PMO responsible for project governance as well as provision and allocation of sales tools, and vehicles.

Perfect Plant Management System Program – Packaging Lead- Guinness Nigeria Plc Sept  2013  to May 2014 Principal Responsibilities. Overall responsibility for leading the delivering of transformation in the entire packaging operations of Guinness Nigeria Plc covering returnable bottles packaging of beer and soft drinks, cans, PET and spirits packaging in bottles and sachets.  The transformation was driven through Improved operational excellence, waste reduction, robust asset care regime, packaging quality enhancement, capability building and performance management . Impacted KPIs were OEE up by 6%, Beer waste reduced from 3.4% to 2.2%, bottle and Can waste reduction by 9% and Finished Goods Quality Index improvement of 12%   Plant Manager   - Benin Brewery (Feb. 2013 to Aug 2013) Principal Responsibilities Responsible for overall site operations of the about 3million hectoliters capacity Benin Brewery of Guinness Nigeria. This being in terms of Brewing, Packaging, Engineering, Quality, HR management, commercial services. Also support Sales and Customer Services operations around the Benin Division as well as ensuring a harmonious relationship with the host community. This was done by 
  • Ensuring that all products required are brewed and packaged to agreed targets volumes and specification with best efficiencies, while delivering excellent KPIs and best cost.
  • Ensure the site is well configured to drive manufacturing excellence by driving and supporting improvement initiatives across the entire operations
  • Ensuring strict adherence to Diageo’s CC&E, Health & safety and environmental standards and also ensuring the protection of life and assets on site.
  • Ensuring that the Diageo people agenda is kept alive by ensuring a motivated workforce driven by performance that guarantees company and self-growth.
Key Achievements include recommissioning of the effluent treatment plant leading to a zero waste to landfill Manufacturing Excellence Manager – Guinness Nigeria Plc   January 2012 to February 2013 Principal Responsibilities Managing 5 teams in the Guinness Nigeria organization that are responsible for manufacturing excellence.  The teams were Brewing Support, Packaging Support, Capability, Best Practise team and the SAP process improvement team Key Achievement were Brewery end-to-end waste reduction of 34%, Overall improvement of  17%   in brewing and 11% in packaging OEE, 94% adherence to production plan, 97% completion of planned training and 100% achievement of planned operator license to operate program.  Technical Manager –West Africa (May 2011  to Dec.2011)  Principal Responsibilities  Managing three teams based in 6 locations across west Africa with responsibilities for the Technical Agenda for the three Guinness operations in Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroun.  Responsibilities in the three markets includes,  Brand services that delivered two major innovations, Guinness Extra smooth® in Cameroun and Origin bitters® in Nigeria Supplier to Plant Management Technology Development; this involves investigation and deployment of new process technologies, managing product technical manuals, The team, commissioned the Beer Membrane Filter in Ogba Nigeria and developed process beer recovery system in Cameroun that reduced process waste by 5.6%. Quality Support. Site process technical audits, flavor matching and interchange analysis management. Trade Quality support and quality systems management.
Brewing Support Manager-  Diageo West Africa (Sep. 2009 – May 2011) Principal responsibilities Total support to achieve manufacturing excellence in brewing operations for the 6 manufacturing sites in Diageo West African in Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroun. Worked with a team of 6 direct reports across West Africa. Primarily responsible for maintaining the highest level of brewing standards as well as the training and development of Brewers and Brewing technicians. The role played a key role in achieving significant business benefits in the area of manufacturing excellence across the West African hub. Championed the use of global methodologies and continual improvement    standards to drive business performance and worked closely with the brewery leadership teams and acted as the site owner of the aligned holistic (Quality, value, service, reputation and innovation) Site improvement plan All sites overachieved on set volume targets, and also delivered on quality and cost. All of the sites(Cameroun came 1st and Benin- Nigeria came 3rd  and Ghana 6th ) were in the top ten of the global Guinness league of excellence in product taste of 33 sites. Led a cross-functional cost reduction team Guinness Nigeria that delivered £7.8Million over and above the budget 
Perfect Plant Project Manager  (Oct. 2007 – Aug. 2009  )   Diageo, London (Secondment) Key Responsibilities and Achievements A member of the Diageo Global Operations Support team that was trained and implemented the Diageo customized continuous improvement programmed tagged “Perfect Plant – Manufacturing Excellence with Mckinsey and sons as consultants. Trained and certified as a regional lead for the manufacturing excellence program in Leven (Scotland) and Dundalk (Ireland). Jointly built the tactical implementation pack for Brewing, packaging, Engineering and Distilling around the 3 bubbles of Operating system, management infrastructure and Mindset, capabilities and Behaviors Jointly led the roll-out of the program in Cameroun, Kenya and Uganda Solely led teams of (15 and 20 respectively) in the implementation of the manufacturing excellence program in 2 sites each in Ghana and Nigeria with OEE improvement of 25.6% in Ghana and 23.4% in Nigeria Significant achievement include marked improvement in packaging lines OEEs, increased output from the brew houses, improved quality of products across impacted sites, better asset care management, reduced waste across the operation, released capacities across the operations as well as safety and most importantly the embedding of better performance management.
Brewing Manager Guinness Nigeria Plc, Benin Brewery (Oct. 2006 – Sep. 2007)   Principal Responsibilities and Achievements Managed a team of 38 made up of 5 shift brewers, 6 supervisors and 17 operators responsible for the brewing of Guinness brands. 
  • Ensured weekly production plans are in place to meet agreed demand consensus figures.
  • Ensured a 95% availability of product to the packaging lines.
  • Ensured 92% plant availability to meet production 
  • Maintained the production materials store ensuring efficient inventory management. 
Led the team to unprecedented performance that moved number of brews per day from 9 to a regular 12 brews per day Optimized the brew house to deliver a record of 14 brews in one day The team finished 3rd in the Guinness league of excellence (among the over 30 sites where Guinness is brewed worldwide) Supported the brewery with beer that led to an 23% uplift in volume delivered. Ensured promotion of 75% of the operators (most of who’s promotion was overdue) Trade Quality Manager Guinness Nigeria Plc  (October 2004 – October 2006) Set up the Trade quality function, developed and embedded Trade Quality standards, established the consumer care centre and consumer careline and helped reduced counterfeiting in Guinness Nigeria Area Sales Manager Guinness Nigeria Plc (Juy1999 – Sep. 2004) Responsible for a team of 14 sales managers and 112 temporal staff. Had outstanding delivery in sales output, salesmen and distributor development. Dr Adeoluwa Adeniji is currently the Chief Medical Director of MeCure Cancer Centre, the Oncology arm of the MeCure Healthcare Limited and the first West African Comprehensive Oncology Centre with the capacity for PET-CT based treatment.  He is a board certified Clinical and Radiation Oncologist with the West African College of Surgeons and National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. He earned his graduate medical degree from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Masters degree in Human Anatomy Science from the University of Lagos and Masters degree in Business Administration with double specialization in Sustainability and Enabling E-commerce from Nexford University, an American based institution known for innovation and excellence.  Furthermore, because of his passion for effective management and leadership especially in the health sector, he earned Fellowships with the Nigerian Institute of Management Consultants and the International Council of Management Consulting institutes. He also holds a leadership and management certificate in health from the University of Washington among more than twenty other certificate trainings in Patient centered care, Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, drug access, research, management and leadership. Being an astute researcher, he has published in both local and international Journals some research findings in clinical oncology and experimental endocrinology.  He has played many leadership and managerial roles including Chief Resident, team lead, senior management staff in at least four oncology centers, church executive leader for 18 years and Director in two oncology centers. As a public health professional and health economist, my work experience has revolved around issues that promote efficiency in national or sub-national health systems from academic and experiential perspectives. I have been involved in managerial capacity building for emerging leaders and senior health managers as a tool for optimizing scare health resources. In 1987, my qualification as a medical doctor was an entry point into the health ecosystem, which exposed me to financing gaps in public and private facilities – an inspiration for a Master of Public Health degree (MPH) in 1996, specializing in health financing & management. My thesis was on the ‘Attitude to and Acceptance of User Fees in Public Health Facilities in a Local Government of Lagos State’. Its hypothesis on the potential for governments in LIMC to expand health revenue while considering the effects of user fees on equity, health seeking behavior and health outcomes, was a primer to further studies and research in health economics. I was very fortunate to study health economics at the University of York, UK (considered the best health economics school in Europe) in 2014 and Harvard University, USA in 2021. It is a privilege to have served as a health policymaker in the most populous state of Nigeria and currently chief medical officer of a global professional services firm. This is the wealth of experience I bring to my future assignments. African countries produce technically sound health professionals – doctors, nurses, pharmacists etc. What is often missing is the capacity to groom leaders and develop managerial competencies. As a matter of fact, Dr Ikechi earned an MBA degree in Business Management from the Cavalla International University USA. Dr. Ikechi is the pioneer and advocator of the ‘‘Brain Re-Engineering Concept and Reimagination, which is strategy for unlocking the entrepreneurial potentialities of the younger generation in line with agriculture. The Brain Re-engineering Initiative is already registered in the United States Library of Congress Copyrights Laws, Washington DC in November 2023. He has twice consulted for the United Nations under the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) Connecting Diaspora for Development Project focused on train-the-trainers programme spearheaded by the Hague Office in the Netherlands. He successfully delivered his assignments at the Food Crop Production Technology Transfer Station in South-South Nigeria; and the National Horticultural Research Institute (NIHORT), South-West Nigeria in 2021 and 2023, respectively. He was invited as the main speaker in the ‘New Faces for Farming’ programme packaged for youngsters in the UK at the Writtle University College (now Anglia Ruskin University), Chelmsford Essex, England sometime in 2023. Since 2003, Dr Ikechi has been carrying out research on micro and macroeconomics as it relates to agribusiness development in Nigeria and sub-Sahara Africa, as well as other global south regions. After defending his PhD (Agribusiness and Marketing of Food and Agricultural Products), he proceeded to the University of Fort Hare, South Africa for his Postdoctoral Research Fellowship on a Smallholder Collaborative Study between Agricultural Research Council (ARC) and the University of Fort Hare, under Prof A. Obi’s project. During this postdoc period, Dr Ikechi was also part and parcel of the NUFFIC Project of which three South African institutions (Universities of Limpopo, Venda, and Fort Hare) benefitted from. In addition, Dr Ikechi has garnered experience as an external examiner with Development Studies Department, University of Fort Hare and has been examining PhD students since 2018. Aside that he has also served as external examiner for MSc and PhD students of Agricultural Economics, University of KwaZulu Natal (UKZN), University of Limpopo and Pince Abubakar Audu University (a.k.a. Kogi State University), Nigeria. Since 2022, he has been receiving invitations to evaluate/assess the research outputs of professors of Agricultural Economics as a National Research Foundation (NRF) Scholar. Dr Ikechi is a licensed roving ambassador and member of the royal chamber under the jurisdiction of the Prime Minister, State of the African Diaspora (SOAD). He engages with international networking volunteer organizations across Africa, Europe, Asia, North America and other regions of the world as either senior advisor or director on how to attract grants and other funding solutions to African communities. Since he joined RSU in 2015, Dr Ikechi Agbugba has been instrumental in creating visibility in many ways. He is the facilitator and lead of the RSU-University of Rwanda collaborations with focus on spearheading formidable and productive projects/programmes between UR’s College of Agriculture, Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine (CAAVM) and Faculty of Agriculture RSU. Dr Ikechi has facilitated some collaboration with Faculty of Agriculture Delta Agriculturists Journal RSU and Africa Organisation of technology in Agriculture/ International Conference on Business Models in Agriculture (IBMA)/University of Rwanda. This agreement is intended to create international visibility for Delta Agriculturists Journal which will metamorphose in generating income for the journal. More so, he is a Co-founder of the Africa Organisation of Technology in Agriculture (AOTA), a Rwanda based initiative poised to transform Africa’s agriculture sector through targeted approaches for unlocking her food and agricultural potentials with the help of technology and business models for her key players. Jointly, AOTA, University of Rwanda, and Rwanda Ministry of Agriculture have twice delivered Int’l Conference on Business Models in Agriculture (IBMA). In the past, Dr Ikechi had served as Senior Advisor and Member of Administrative Board, Association of African Future Leaders’ (AAFL). He has also garnered wide experiences and affiliations in the academia and research domains as Advisory Board Member at Saudi Education & Technology Collective Alliance (SETCA); and Advisory Board Member at Food Security Consortium USA. As an active advocate member of the European Technology Chamber (EUTECH), he participates in different workstreams as either expert, consultant or speaker. He was nominated as Board Member of the Food, Farming and Fisheries Alliance Committee by EUTECH focusing on possible and easy solutions how to deploy business ideas, as well as relevant technology solutions to targeted African communities, developing interregional technology cooperation between Europe and Africa. According to Dr Ikechi, “moves to industrialize the agriculture sector must be vastly encouraged in sub-Sahara African countries especially in the advent of technology and era of the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0).” Dr Ikechi features as Board Member at African Council for Small Businesses and Entrepreneurship (ACOSBE) and Uganda National Entrepreneurship Development Institute 2 (UNEDI). Kayode Abe is an alumnus of the University of Ife (now called Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where he finished top of his class with a first-class honors degree in social sciences, specializing in sociology and anthropology, in 1985, and a master's degree in 1988.
He commenced his postgraduate work experience in 1986 as a university scholar and junior teaching assistant in the Department of Management and Accounting of the institution. He left after his postgraduate program in 1988 to join the management consulting arm of Coopers and Lybrand as a trainee consultant. Before his present vocation, his job experience spanned about thirty-four years in well-reputed organizations within and outside Nigeria, including:
  • Coopers & Lybrand (now a member of PriceWaterhouse Coopers): He joined in 1988 and left in 1996 as Senior Consultant and Team Lead. While there, he participated in and led a couple of organization development engagements in organizations across different sectors of the economy, including manufacturing, banking and financial services, oil and gas, agriculture, trading and services, multi-sectoral conglomerates, the public sector, and UN-funded projects.
  • Michelin Group—Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Poitiers, France: left as Head, HR (Commerce and Service Groups) in March 2000. Aside from taking charge of eleven service groups in the multinational tire-producing company, he was a key member of the company’s Synergy project that led to the coalescence of the administration of the manufacturing arm, the plantations group, and the trading services arm of the company into one for improved efficiency in Nigeria.
  • New National Bank of Nigeria Ltd. – joined as the Pioneer Head of Human Resources. Working with Accenture, he led the setting up of the bank’s human resources, general administration, and internal services systems of the reengineered bank. He later became an Assistant General Manager of Corporate and Human Resources. He left post consolidation to join UBA Group in May 2006 as Group Head of HR Operations. 
  • UBA Group (left as Group Head of HR Operations in August 2006 to join Ecobank as Senior Assistant General Manager and Country Head of Human Resources.
  • Ecobank: Joined as Senior Assistant General Manager and Country Head of Human Resources. Played a leading role in establishing the HR systems for the enlarged entity after its acquisition and rescue of a number of banks that failed the CBN consolidation test post 2005. (Left as Deputy General Manager and Group Head of Cross Border Business in January 2010 to join ICAN as Director, HR and Admin.) 
  • ICAN (served as Director of HR & Administration from 2010 to 2019). Here he led the transformation and modernization of the institution’s human resources and internal administration systems and practices, leading to its present automation (end-to-end). Mrs. Cecilia Osoka is an accomplished finance professional and process engineering expert with over two decades of cross-industry experience in audit, banking, operations, and business process transformation. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), she holds a B.Sc. in Accounting and an MBA and is also an Associate of both the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACITN) and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (HCIBN). Her early career included 7 years in audit and accountancy practice before transitioning into a successful 17-year banking career in both merchant and commercial banking. Her expertise in process engineering and change management earned her a position on the Central Bank of Nigeria's Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) Implementation Workgroup.

Currently, she serves as a partner at Averti Professional Managers, a consultancy firm specializing in business process engineering and training, where she leads initiatives that help organizations optimize systems and improve operational efficiency.

He became the first Postdoctoral Research Fellow to attain the prestigious National Research Foundation (NRF) C-rating as an established researcher at the College of Accounting Sciences. He received his PhD in Accounting from Covenant University, Nigeria, in 2020. He has twenty (20) years of extensive experience from the financial services industry (Zenith Bank Plc.), a multinational firm (Unilever Nigeria Plc.), consulting (FactBase Consulting Ltd.), and academia (Wesley University, Nigeria; Anchor University, Nigeria; Augustine University, Nigeria; Open University of Nigeria (NOUN); Lagos State University (LASU); University of South Africa; and the University of Johannesburg). He currently teaches Empirical Accounting and IT Risk & Risk Management for master's students at the University of Johannesburg. Prof. Ohunakin has been serving as a consultant on several projects for the Worldbank/IFC, AfDB, KfW, AFD, GIZ, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), UNDP-GEF project on Energy Efficiency in Nigeria, etc. He is also a consultant to several NGOs and private bodies (both foreign and local).
