At Rome Business School Nigeria, every journey begins with purpose and this year’s Orientation Programme was no exception.
It was held across two impactful days, the experience was thoughtfully designed to welcome, equip, and inspire a new cohort of leaders ready to thrive in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
The virtual orientation, hosted via Zoom on Saturday, April 11, 2026, laid a strong foundation, while the on-campus experience on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the Marriott Hotel Ikeja brought the community together in a dynamic and engaging environment.
A Diverse Community of Future Leaders
The orientation welcomed a vibrant mix of MBA, Master’s, and Executive MBA students, professionals and entrepreneurs from diverse industries, united by a shared ambition: to grow, lead, and make meaningful impact.
From the very beginning, it was clear that this was more than an academic journey. It marked the start of a transformational experience rooted in collaboration, innovation, and global relevance.
Inspiring Leadership in Times of Change
A major highlight of the on-campus session was the keynote address delivered by Funke Amobi on the topic: “Business Leadership in Times of Upheaval.”
Her session was both insightful and inspiring, offering practical perspectives on navigating uncertainty, leading through change, and building resilience in today’s complex business environment.
An Engaging and Insightful Experience
The Orientation Programme was carefully structured to provide both information and inspiration. Key highlights included:
Welcome Address by Olakunle Asunmo, who set the tone for a rigorous yet rewarding academic journey.
School Overview by Professor Anthonio Ragusa, offering students a comprehensive introduction to the institution’s vision and global outlook.
Cultural Insight Session led by Program Advisor, Chukwuoma, who took students on an engaging and insightful exploration of Rome’s cultural heritage, reinforcing the importance of understanding the institution’s roots.

Each session reinforced a central message that at Rome Business School Nigeria, education goes beyond the classroom. It is about developing leaders who are prepared to navigate real-world challenges and create meaningful impact.
Where Learning Meets Opportunity

The programme reflected the institution’s commitment to delivering global exposure, practical learning, and access to influential networks which are the key drivers of career transformation in today’s competitive landscape.
