Dr. Francis Toromade is a distinguished agribusiness consultant, with over 35 years of experience across Nigeria and West Africa. His extensive expertise spans livestock management, sales, marketing, research, and business development, with a proven track record of driving growth, innovation, and sustainable development in the agricultural sector. Known for his transformative leadership, Francis led Amo Byng Nig. Ltd. to a remarkable 34,000% revenue increase during his tenure. His contributions were honored by Amo Byng Nig. Ltd. with a feed mill named after him.
After his tenure at Amo Byng, Francis transitioned to academia and consulting, leading initiatives that support agribusiness education and development. He serves as the Director General of Premier Agribusiness Academy, where he champions strategic learning solutions in partnership with institutions like the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) and Nigerian Institute of Animal Science (NIAS), fostering agribusiness investment and farmer training in Nigeria. Additionally, as a facilitator at Rome Business School, he shares his expertise in agribusiness, logistics and supply chain management, marketing, sales expertise, entrepreneurship, and innovation with master’s students.
Francis’s involvement in major projects like the Nigeria Soy Excellence Centre, where he trained over 3,000 stakeholders through Training of Trainers (ToT) programs and promoted agricultural infrastructure, underscores his commitment to agribusiness advancement.
He served as the Executive Secretary of the Soy Excellence Centre Regional Advisory Council from 2019 to 2023, during which he played a pivotal role in constituting the Regional Advisory Council members, comprising stakeholders from both the public and private sectors.

With a Ph.D. in Business Administration, an MBA in International Business Management, and a master’s in Agribusiness Management, Project Management, and Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Francis is a recognized authority and a respected member of several prestigious professional bodies. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), Chartered Institute of Administration, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, the Guild of Public Affairs Analysts of Nigeria (GPAAN), Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria (Chartered), Centre for Public Service Productivity and Development, and the Institute of Management Consultants, where he also holds the Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation.
